Zusammenfassung
Bisherige Untersuchungen zu Geschlechterunterschieden im Deutschunterricht haben primär Unterschiede in der Lesekompetenz von Mädchen und Jungen fokussiert. Dabei weiß man, dass Lehrkräfte und Peers unterschiedliche Bedeutung für die Motivation von Mädchen und Jungen haben und diese sich auch in ihren Lernstrategien, ihrer Anstrengungsbereitschaft und ihrem fachspezifischen Interesse unterscheiden. Aufbauend auf dem erweiterten Erwartungs-Wert-Modell und dem Vier-Phasen-Modell der Interessensentwicklung hat die vorliegende Studie deshalb das Zusammenspiel von motivationalen Beziehungen mit Peers und Lehrkräften, fachspezifischem Interesse und Lernstrategien mittels Fragebogendaten von 858 adoleszenten Schüler/-innen im Deutschunterricht untersucht. Ergebnisse des latenten Mittelwertvergleichs zeigen, dass Jungen weniger deutschspezifisches Interesse und Memorieren berichten sowie seltener Kontrollstrategien anwenden. Die Multigruppenstrukturgleichungsmodelle zeigen geschlechterspezifische Unterschiede im Zusammenspiel von motivationalen Beziehungen, fachspezifischem Interesse und Lernstrategien. Bei Jungen haben Peers, bei Mädchen dagegen Lehrkräften stärkere Bedeutung für die Bereitschaft kognitive Lernstrategien (Memorieren, Elaborieren) anzuwenden. Bei Jungen sind zudem Zusammenhänge zwischen Interesse und Lernverhalten stärker. Entsprechend mediiert Interesse für Mädchen partiell und für Jungen vollständig den Zusammenhang zwischen der motivationalen Beziehung mit der Lehrkraft und ihren Lernstrategien.
