Zusammenfassung
Die Entwicklung des Menschen zu einem selbstbestimmten und selbstwirksamen Wesen ist eine der basalen Voraussetzungen, um einer Viktimisierung zu entgehen, Widerständen zu trotzen oder erfolgte Angriffe mit geringstmöglichem Schaden zu überstehen. Dabei spielt die Anlage genauso wie die Umwelt eine bestimmte Rolle. Durch die Lebensphasen vor der Geburt, der Kleinkind-, Vorschul- und Grundschulzeit wie auch im jugendlichen Alter ändern sich die Einflussmöglichkeiten von Eltern, Freunden und Schule. Grenzen der Einflussnahme liegen in frühen Jahren in Gesetzmäßigkeiten der Entwicklung, die nicht oder nur sehr bedingt beeinflussbar sind. Die Entwicklung, Beachtung und der bewusste Umgang mit Emotionen gehört dabei zu den großen Herausforderungen. Erreicht wird dies unter anderem dadurch, dass emotionales Wissen altersgerecht an Kinder und Jugendliche vermittelt wird.
