Zusammenfassung
Nichts hält länger als eine gute Theorie. Logiken – im Sinne von Denkweisen – beeinflussen unsere Entscheidungen und die Art, wie wir uns Zusammenhänge vorstellen. Dieser Aufsatz bietet dem Leser eine neue Logik, die sich von der traditionell im Sportmanagement verwendeten Denkweise unterscheidet. Traditionell werden Sportevents als Produkte oder Güter aufgefasst, die Wert stiften. Die neue Logik betrachtet Sportevents als Plattformen, auf denen Wert durch das Zusammenwirken vieler Menschen geschaffen wird. Auf den Punkt gebracht: dieses Werk analysiert die Welt des Sports anders, nach unserer Meinung besser, weil es dem Sportmanagement hilft, wertstiftende Aktivitäten eines Netzwerks auf einer gemeinsamen Plattform zu analysieren.
