Zusammenfassung

Diese Einleitung skizziert knapp den Rahmen für die verschiedenen Beiträge. Zunächst werden verschiedene gesellschaftstheoretische Perspektiven daraufhin beleuchtet, welche Rolle sie für soziale Beziehungsnetze vorsehen. Anschließend betrachten wir Studien zu Netzwerken in verschiedenen Teilbereichen und die aus ihnen entstandenen theoretischen Auseinandersetzungen mit Netzwerken. Es folgt ein Überblick über die Beiträge des Bands und ein Vorschlag einer Systematisierung der Perspektiven, die sie eröffnen.
