Zusammenfassung
Despite the “post-neoliberal” predictions of neoliberalism’s demise triggered by the recent “great recession” of 2007-11, the political economy of contemporary capitalism has continued to operate as a formidable engine of social transformation and the selective accumulation of wealth. It is generally recognized that the interpretation and meaning of these claims of change and continuity varies with the political perspective of the observer as well as the participants.
