Zusammenfassung
Nach einer kurzen Reminiszenz zum persönlichen Verhältnis des Autors zu Richard Rorty geht es vor allem um drei Fragen, nämlich (1.) um das Verhältnis von Rortys „Neopragmatismus“ zum klassischen Pragmatismus von Peirce, James, Dewey und Mead; (2.) um die Beziehung zwischen Rortys „Dekonstruktion der Philosophie als autonomer Disziplin“ und den Sozialwissenschaften, sowie (3.) um das Verständnis von Religion und Glauben bei Rorty als Formen des Autoritarismus.
