Abstract
The papers collected in this volume were presented at a conference convened in Podgorica, Montenegro, in October 2014. Scholars from a range of academic institutions and disciplines gathered to discuss the topic “Islam, Religions and Pluralism in Europe” and its broad implications and challenges from a range of perspectives, participating in what one participant termed “interdisciplinary and intercultural discourses”. This theme allowed participants from diverse nations and societies in Europe and even from outside of Europe to discuss contemporary social and political situations as well as current debates and legislation surrounding pluralism, whether religious, social, or legal.
