Zusammenfassung
Mobilität spielt auch – und insbesondere – im Alter eine entscheidende Rolle, da sie einerseits gesellschaftliche Partizipation ermöglicht und andererseits die Lebensqualität entscheidend beeinflusst. Mollenkopf und Engeln (2008) betonen in ihrer Zusammenstellung von mobilitätsbezogenen Bedürfnissen neben Effektivität und Effizienz, Wohlbefinden und sozialen Motiven auch den Aspekt Mobilität als Selbstzweck, wo Selbstwirksamkeit und Autonomie eine wichtige Rolle spielen.
