Zusammenfassung
Bei der gesundheitsbezogenen Kommunikation im Internet zeigt sich ein breit gefächertes Angebot von Gesundheitsportalen bis hin zu Online-Communitys. Die Laien-Öffentlichkeit und Betroffene nutzen diese vermehrt, um informationsbezogene oder soziale Unterstützung zu erhalten. Der Beitrag reflektiert sowohl die Potenziale und Wirkung als auch die Grenzen und Gefahren dieser Entwicklung.
