Zusammenfassung
Viele Unternehmen kommunizieren immer häufiger ihre CSR-Aktivitäten. Bei manchen Unternehmen kommt der Antrieb von innen: CSR ist dann entweder Kern der Marken- und Unternehmensstrategie oder ein wichtiger Bestanteil davon. Andere Unternehmen hingegen greifen das Thema auf, weil sie die Veränderungen im Markt und daraus die Notwendigkeit zur Kommunikation von CSR sehen. Es ist dann eine reine Außenorientierung. Aufgrund der wachsenden Transparenz unternehmerischen Handelns durch die Digitalisierung wird es für Kunden und andere Anspruchsgruppen immer einfacher, hinter die Kulissen zu schauen. Entsprechend bedarf es in Unternehmen eines gelebten CSR-Konzeptes, das zunächst im Unternehmen zu implementieren ist, bevor dieses Engagement dann nach außen getragen werden kann. Dies ist Voraussetzung dafür, dass Unternehmen und Marken durch ihr Handeln positive Wirkungen im Markt erzielen. Ansonsten erzielt CSR-Kommunikation nicht die notwendigen positiven Effekte, mehr noch: Lösen Unternehmen entsprechend kommunizierte Versprechen nicht in ihrem täglichen Handeln ein, kann dies sogar negative Rückwirkungen auf das Unternehmen haben und Shitstorms auslösen, die das Unternehmen nachhaltig schädigen. In dem folgenden Beitrag geben wir einen Einblick in CSR-Strategien und -Kommunikation sowie deren Wirkungen.
