Zusammenfassung
Organizational education research strategies and research methodologies are grounded in theoretical, ontological and epistemological foundations. Against a primarily objectivist research paradigm, organizational education empirical research works from a historizing, futuring, triangulation, mixed methods and a reflexivity oriented position. Against narrow substantialist and entity-based perspectives, organizations are understood as ‚becoming‘ and ‚doing‘ in the process of ‚organizing‘. The topics of emergent or disruptive change and intentional, formal or informal learning is focus of organizational education research. Research strategies in this sense support a complexity and a culturalizing perspectivity and argue for a ‚polylogic‘ and ethics oriented standpoint on rationalities and truth. From here, research strategies of multiperspectivity, process orientation, comparative orientation, participation orientation, as well as aesthetization and design orientation become crucial for organizational education research. Organizational education research always is interested in theoretically grounded and analytically oriented research, which can be participatory and design oriented, too. Research strategies in general make use of the whole spectrum of qualitative and quantitative methodology and methods as well as their further and ongoing developments.
