Zusammenfassung
Mit den sozialen Medien verändern sich die sozialen Beziehungen zwischen Individuen in wirtschaft lichen und politischen Institutionen. Individuen können plötzlich mehr für sich und vor allem aber auch mit anderen tun, ohne hierbei auf traditionelle, stabile und oft exklusive Institutionen angewiesen zu sein (Benkler, 2006, S. 9). Diese neuen sozialen Beziehungen zwischen Individuen ermöglichen vielleicht zum ersten Mal in der Menschheitsgeschichte auf globaler Ebene die Freiheit, mit Gleichgesinnten Projekte anzugehen und so etwas wie Selbstverwirklichung zu suchen und zu finden.
