Zusammenfassung

Gesundheitspolitik zielt auf eine qualitativ hochwertige, inklusive und effiziente Bereitstellung von Gesundheitsleistungen. In einem weiteren Verständnis sollen auch die öffentliche Gesundheit gestärkt, die Interessen des Gesundheitssektors gewahrt und die Verfügbarkeit qualifizierter Fachkräfte gesichert werden. Die gesundheitspolitische Forschung hat verschiedene Systemtypen identifiziert, die diese Ziele mit unterschiedlichen Erfolgen verfolgen. Dieser Beitrag stellt die historische Entwicklung des Politikfelds in verschiedenen Ländern, die Zielkonflikte, Messungen der Zielerreichung und vorliegende international vergleichende Ergebnisse der Forschungen zur Gesundheitspolitik dar. Die Betrachtung gesundheitspolitischer Prozesse aus der Perspektive der Policy-Forschung schließt das Verhältnis zwischen wissenschaftlicher Politikberatung und Gesundheitspolitik ein.
