Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über grundlegende Konzepte der Organisationsstruktur und ihre möglichen Veränderungen im Zuge der Restrukturierung. Wir fassen die längerfristige Entwicklung der Redimensionierung („Downsizing“) in Deutschland zusammen und beschreiben Folgen für die wichtigsten Stakeholder. Studien zu Auswirkungen der Redimensionierung auf den Unternehmenserfolg kommen zu gemischten Ergebnissen. Mitarbeiter sind im Regelfall negativ von Redimensionierung betroffen. Wir kommen zu dem Schluss, dass Redimensionierungen gegenüber Stakeholdern einer guten Begründung bedürfen.
