Zusammenfassung
Social Media ist für Verlage Herausforderung und Chance zugleich. Christian Lindner, Chefredakteur der „Rhein-Zeitung“ (Koblenz), sieht als leidenschaftlicher Printredakteur und zugleich überzeugter Aktivist im Web 2.0, hierbei vor allem die Redaktionen gefordert. Zentraler Erfolgsfaktor für Medienhäuser in Social Media ist aus seiner Sicht die richtige Haltung der Macher. Sie müssen verstehen und leben: Es geht hier um People, nicht um User. So zentral die Bedeutung der Redaktion für erfolgreiche Social Media-Arbeit ist: Auch die Verlage müssen sich ganzheitlich auf Social Media einstellen – und das nicht nur werktags zu den normalen Bürozeiten.
