Leadership im Wissenszeitalter – eine empirische Follow-up Studie

Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag werden folgende vier Thesen, die von Müller, Renzl, Hinterhuber und Lakomski (2007) zum Thema Führung im Wissenszeitalter aufgestellt wurden, in einer empirischen Studie überprüft: (1) Leadership ist persönliche Führungsleistung plus Leistung des Teams; (2) Leadership ist eine Kombination von Führung von oben und Verteilung der Führungsbefugnisse im Unternehmen; (3) Transformational Leadership ist im Wissenszeitalter wichtiger als Transactional Leadership; (4) Das Unternehmen der Zukunft ist eine Leadership Company. Dazu wurde eine qualitative Studie in einem wissensintensiven Unternehmen durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse bestätigen die aufgestellten Hypothesen und liefern Einblicke zum aktuellen Stand der Führungsforschung.
