Zusammenfassung
Die Bearbeitung mathematischer Modellierungsaufgaben erfordert neben anderen Aktivitäten ein fundiertes Verständnis der Aufgabenstellung. Obwohl es eine Reihe von Untersuchungen von Bedingungsfaktoren „mathematischen“ Lesens im Bereich Textaufgaben gibt (vgl. Reed, 1999), liegen bisher nur wenige Beiträge vor, in denen speziell die mathematische Modellierungskompetenz unter diesem Gesichtspunkt analysiert wird.
