Zusammenfassung
„Das Netz im Netz“ nennt der Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV) seine zwei Dutzend Metro-Buslinien, die die Innenstadt horizontal und vertikal mit den Außenbezirken verbinden. „Schicksalsexpress“ nennt ein Freund diese Busse und meint damit vor allem den Bus Nummer 3. Der startet in der imageträchtigen Hafencity, kreuzt die Innenstadt, schlängelt sich entlang der Schnittstelle zwischen den Szenevierteln Schanze & St. Pauli, streift das stark gentrifizierte Altona, fährt über das lärmgeplagte Arbeiterviertel Bahrenfeld bis hin zur Großwohnsiedlung Osdorfer Born und endet schließlich im dörflich strukturierten Schenefeld.
