Zusammenfassung
Die folgenden Überlegungen gehen von der These aus, dass (visuelle) Metaphern – beispielsweise Quesnays Tableau économique, Smiths Invisible Hand, Walras´ Tâtonnement, aber auch die Phillips Machine – konstitutive und irreduzible Bestandteile wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Theorieprogramme und Wissenschaftskulturen darstellen.
