Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag widmet sich den Analyseschwerpunkten im Ratingverfahren und den damit einher-gehenden Informationsanforderungen. Die Ratingsystematik von Standard & Poor’s wird anhand des Praxisbeispiels des Ratings der Knorr-Bremse AG, einem nach HGB bilanzierenden Familien-unternehmen, dargestellt. Voraussetzung für einen interaktiven Ratingprozess, das heißt die Erstellung eines öffentlichen oder vertraulichen externen Ratings durch Standard & Poor’s, ist das Mandat des Unternehmens. Alle Aspekte der Mandatserteilung und der Verhandlung über Vertragsstruktur sowie Gebühren liegt in den Händen der Kundenbetreuung, ist strikt vom analytischen Bereich getrennt und nicht Gegenstand dieser Ausführungen.
