Zusammenfassung
Lag der Schwerpunkt der Führungsforschung in der Vergangenheit vor allem auf den Formen, Antezedenzien und Konsequenzen konstruktiver und effektiver Führung, erfahren gerade in den letzten Jahren auch destruktive Formen von Führung stärkere wissenschaftliche Aufmerksamkeit. Ausgangspunkt dieser Entwicklung sind Befunde, die auf gravierende individuelle und wirtschaftliche Nachteile destruktiver Führung hinweisen. Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Feld vor und diskutiert sie insbesondere hinsichtlich ihrer Implikationen für die Organisationspraxis. Zunächst werden die Definition destruktiver Führung und der Stand der Forschung beleuchtet. Auf dieser Basis werden Perspektiven für die Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung (z. B. mit Blick auf Personalauswahl, Feedbackprozesse, Trainings) diskutiert. Den Abschluss bildet ein Überblick über aktuelle Messinstrumente sowie eine Diskussion potenzieller Probleme bei der Messung destruktiver Führung.
