Zusammenfassung

Das Endometriumkarzinom ist das häufigste gynäkologische Malignom. Neben der Unterscheidung in ein östrogenabhängiges Typ-I-Karzinom sowie ein östrogenunabhängiges Typ-II-Karzinom spielen immunhistochemische bzw. molekulare Marker eine zunehmend große Rolle. Klassisches Symptom des Endometriumkarzinoms ist eine (postmenopausale) Blutungsstörung. Die Hysteroskopie mit einer fraktionierten Abrasio stellt den Goldstandard in der Diagnostik dar. Andere Blutungsursachen oder Pathologien wie Myome sollten ausgeschlossen werden. Die Therapie bei der postmenopausalen Patientin erfolgt mittels Hysterektomie und beidseitiger Adnexektomie.

In höheren Stadien oder Risikosituationen ist zusätzlich eine Evaluation der Lymphknoten notwendig.

In Abhängigkeit der Tumorbiologie und des postoperativen Stadiums erfolgt ggf. eine Radiochemotherapie und/oder adjuvante Chemotherapie.
