Schlafbezogene Beinmuskelkrämpfe sind in der Bevölkerung häufig. Sie treten oft als Begleitsymptom von Endokrinopathien, Elektrolytstörungen oder neuromuskulären Erkrankungen auf. Sie können die Nachtschlafqualität relevant beeinträchtigen und sind bei der Schlafanamnese immer zu berücksichtigen.
