Zusammenfassung

Psychosoziale Therapien stellen neben der Somato- und Psychotherapie eine weitere wichtige Säule der psychiatrischen Behandlung dar. Es existiert keine einheitliche Definition; vielmehr werden heterogene Interventionen und Konzepte unter diesem Begriff zusammengefasst. Für den deutschsprachigen Raum wurden psychosoziale Interventionen erstmals in der S3-Leitlinie „Psychosoziale Therapien bei schweren psychischen Erkrankungen“ systematisiert. Neben Systeminterventionen, zu denen beispielsweise Ansätze der gemeindepsychiatrischen multiprofessionellen Behandlung oder der Arbeitsrehabilitation zählen, werden Einzelinterventionen, wie beispielsweise die Ergotherapie und das Training sozialer Fertigkeiten unterschieden. Eine psychotherapeutische Grundhaltung und die bewusste gesundheitsfördernde Gestaltung des Behandlungsmilieus bilden die Grundlagen der Therapie. Psychosoziale Therapien zielen hauptsächlich auf eine Erweiterung der Möglichkeiten der Betroffenen, ihr Leben so selbstständig und eigenverantwortlich wie möglich in der Gemeinde zu gestalten, die Teilhabe in verschiedenen Lebensbereichen zu fördern und ihre Lebensqualität zu verbessern.
