Zusammenfassung
Die radiologische Diagnostik des Kindes basiert im Wesentlichen auf dem Röntgenbild. Die altersabhängige Kenntnis der Ossifikationszentren und Wachstumsfugen ist daher von großer Bedeutung, da Diagnostik, Therapie und Heilungsverlauf hierüber erfasst werden. Die MRT-Diagnostik hat sich insbesondere für das Kniegelenk als maßgebliche Untersuchung bei Kniebinnenschäden durchgesetzt, während die CT für die Schädel-Hirn- und die Polytraumadiagnostik mit Anwendung von strahlenreduzierenden Protokollen entscheidend sind.
