Zusammenfassung
Vor allem bei den langen Röhrenknochen können hinsichtlich der internen Blutversorgung zwei Hauptsysteme unterschieden werden: 1. das zentrale medulläre Gefäßsystem und 2. das periphere muskuloperiostale Gefäßsystem . Beide Systeme sind durch zahlreiche Anastomosen mit einander verbunden und tragen in unterschiedlichem Maße zur Ernährung der Knochenkortikalis bei (◘ Abb. 1.1, ◘ Abb. 1.2).
