Die traditionelle chinesische Medizin (TCM) ist eine jahrtausendealte analytische Heilkunde. Sie nimmt einen immer festeren Stellenwert in der modernen Medizin ein. Physiologie in der traditionellen chinesischen Medizin bedeutet, dass der Mensch sich in Harmonie befindet. Es existieren verschiedene Theorien in der TCM, die diese Harmonie beschreiben.
