Zusammenfassung
Die meisten sozialpsychiatrischen Interventionen bestehen aus verschiedenen Komponenten und können als komplex bezeichnet werden. Die wissenschaftlichen Methoden, um solche komplexen Interventionen – z. B. in randomisierten kontrollierten Studien – zu evaluieren, haben sich in den letzten 15 Jahren erheblich weiterentwickelt. Dies kann – im Zusammenhang mit einer zunehmenden Bürokratisierung von Forschungsgenehmigungen – auch die ethische Beurteilung erschweren. Bei Anträgen an Ethikkommissionen zur Beurteilung von Studien zu sozialpsychiatrischen Interventionen ergeben sich Probleme formaler, praktischer, rechtlicher und vor allem wissenschaftlicher Natur, die in dem Beitrag illustriert werden. Zusätzliche Aspekte sind potenzielle Interessenkonflikte und die Nutzung von Forschungserkenntnissen in der Praxis.
