Zusammenfassung
Das Prinzip der Geschalteten Reluktanzmaschine ist eines der am längsten bekannten Prinzipien zur Umwandlung elektrischer Energie in mechanische. Das erste Patent, bei dem das Reluktanzmoment benutzt wurde, stammt aus dem Jahre 1839 [845]. Erst durch die enormen Fortschritte der Halbleitertechnologie und der einhergehenden Entwicklung der Leistungs- und Mikroelektronik in den 70er Jahren, wurde das Prinzip des Reluktanzantriebes neu belebt.
