Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag stellt die Perspektive der Forschung zu Lernen und Instruktion dar. Unter Instruktion wird Unterrichten im weitesten Sinne verstanden, etwa inklusive der lernförderlichen Gestaltung von Lernumgebungen. Lernen und Instruktion werden dabei primär aus einer kognitiven, psychologischen Sichtweise betrachtet. Es werden die wichtigsten Arten von Wissen (und Können) dargelegt, vor allem in Hinblick darauf, dass diese die wichtigsten Zieldimensionen, aber auch Voraussetzungen für erfolgreiches Lernen sind. Anschließend wird Lernen in Bezug auf Wissenserwerb betrachtet. Fragen der Instruktion werden auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen (Unterrichtsmodelle vs. einzelne Techniken der Lernförderung) beleuchtet, und es wird die Frage diskutiert, was gute Instruktion ausmacht. Die wichtigsten Forschungsmethoden im Bereich des Lernens und der Instruktion werden skizziert. In einem abschließenden Fazit werden positive Entwicklungen, aber auch aktuelle Herausforderungen des vorliegenden Forschungsfelds vorgestellt.
