Internetportal „Qantara“
Das arabische Wort „qantara“ bedeutet Brücke. Mit dem gemeinsamen Internetportal Qantara.de wollen die Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, die Deutsche Welle, das Goethe-Institut und das Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen zum Dialog mit der islamischen Welt beitragen. Das Projekt wird vom Auswärtigen Amt der Bundesrepublik Deutschland gefördert. Auf der Website in deutscher, englischer und arabischer Sprache gibt es umfangreiche aktuelle Informationen zu Politik, Gesellschaft und Kultur der MuslimInnen sowie Bildergalerien. Zudem gibt es verschiedene thematische Dossiers mit Stellungnahmen, Hintergrundinformationen und Kommentaren sowie Veranstaltungshinweise. Ein kostenloses Newsletter steht zum Abonnement bereit.
