Zusammenfassung
Bedenkt man, wie sehr Emotionen unser Denken und Handeln beeinflussen, überraschtes nicht, dass sie ein zentraler Forschungsgegenstand der Psychologie waren und sind. In den letzten zwanzig Jahren hat die experimentelle Psychologie die Forschung zur Interaktion von Emotion und Kognition erheblich vorangetrieben (vgl. Dreisbach 2008). Auch die verstärkte Interdisziplinarität von Kognitions- und Neuropsychologen, Neurowissenschaftlern und klinisch tätigen Psychologen zeigt die Bedeutung der Emotionsforschung.
