Abstract
This chapter presents an overview of several classic theories used in mental health counseling that can also be suitable for financial counseling: Psychoanalytical theory, Adlerian Therapy, Gestalt, Person-Centered Approach, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and General Systems Theory. A case study is provided for application.
