Abstract
This article discusses findings from a research study that evaluates the information literacy competencies of students at Paris Descartes University Institute of technology (UIT). This study was carried out to understand how the undergraduate students of this University deal with information. Findings reveal that a number of students have problems with basic information literacy skills and that the students from different disciplines have different needs.
