Abstract
The Metaverse has changed the landscape of the business world to be more exciting. Metaverse technology has created a virtual reality that is similar to reality. Such technology aims to address many of the problems represented in checking virtual products, users’ interaction with each other, and so on. However, the engagement and usage behavior of Metaverse suffers from hesitation by many users. This study aims to explore the influence of technology acceptance factors on Metaverse user behavior by investigating the mediation of self-efficacy. Accordingly, the current study targeted a sample of virtual network users, whose number reached 384 respondents. Structural equation modeling was used, and the results revealed that technology acceptance elements affect Metaverse user behavior. In addition, self-efficacy has fully mediated the relationship between the elements of the skill receipt model and the use of the Metaverse.
