Abstract

There are many multi-attribute decision making (MADM) method in existing literature. Most commonly used MADM methods are the AHP, the TOPSIS, the VIKOR, MSM, the ELECTRE, the PROMETHEE, etc. As it is known, main of this set of MADM methods suffer from rank reversal phenomena [13]. This phenomenon is that the rank of ordered alternatives is changed while we add or delete a new alternative to MADM problem. In this paper a new approach to MADM free of rank reversal phenomena under bimodal decision relevant information described by Z-number. The suggested approach is illustrated by numerical example.
