Abstract

The paper describes a brand-new information technology for the CAD of elements and devices of control systems, developed by prof. M.F. Zaripov and his scientific school based on a unified systematic approach to the organization of knowledge about physical and technical effects. Authors give a retrospective review of works presenting this technology and individual cases. The article presents the essential axioms that make it possible to formulate Energy-Information Models (EIM) of Physical and Technical Effects (PTE), the appliance of the apparatus of Parametric Structural Schemes (PSS) and the methodology of morphological analysis and synthesis to individual blocks of those schemes. All this together allows to automate the synthesizing of new elements of control systems with improved operational characteristics. Further improvement of the technical device design is achieved by using generalized methods for improving the performance of the synthesized structure. This technology allows to: reduce the time and labor intensity of making a product, quickly adapt to market changes, involve the top user within the design process, and increase the number of actively used knowledge within the training of engineers again and again over.
