Abstract

This article first sets out to establish a clear definition of intelligent tutoring systems (ITS). It then outlines the main components of these systems. It then turns to an analysis of the various ITSs from various sources of information and knowledge from several sectors. The selection being based on the most widely recognized and commonly used ITS in different fields. Finally, the article concludes with a comparison between these ITSs to determine their similarities and differences, ending with a conclusion of this article’s point of interest.
