Abstract
The paper aimed to shed light on the digital built environment in the metaverse. Accordingly, the term “metaverse” was defined in a way that the reader would accept. Furthermore, interior design and architectural problems in Virtual Reality were highlighted to have some developments in the future, making architects and interior designers the primary constructors of Virtual Reality and giving them the leading role of enhancing the digital built environment. Moreover, the Researcher showed how the metaverse changed the nature of architecture and interior design’s workflow. Finally, the Researcher focused on the reality-enhancing technologies that would benefit customers in their experience in the virtual world.
