Abstract

Qualitative and quantitative indicators quality of functioning multiservice telecommunication networks based on ICT technology of the digital economy, using the concept NGN (Next Generation Network) and FN (Future Network) in terms of the properties self-similar traffic, are analyzed. Self-similarity of traffic has a significant impact on the quality of communication. In this case, research is mainly focused on the statistical characteristics of queues, since buffering and throughputs are the main resource provisioning strategy of communication networks. And it turns out that traditional queuing analysis based on the Poisson flow assumption cannot accurately predict system performance under conditions of self-similar traffic. Important directions for the development NGN and FN multiservice networks based on end-to-end digital technologies in the digital economy are studied. The tasks multi rate service systems, a sufficient amount information and network resources, which provide indicators quality of functioning networks, both indicators quality of service (QoS) and indicators quality of experience (QoE), are considered. Based on the model, analytical expressions are obtained for evaluating the performance indicators hardware-software complexes of a communication system, taking into account the properties self-similar traffic.
