Abstract
Increasing urbanization caused by growing population leads to expansion of road infrastructure. This leads to a reduction in the flow of road traffic and thus to the increase in the number of accidents. These situations arise because there is no way to inform drivers of the approaching danger. The current level of development of wireless data transmission technologies allows the use of information services almost anywhere by using mobile devices. Therefore, the logical outcome of the solution to this problem was the introduction of road traffic control and management and the creation of the VANET (Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network) networks. Development of software tools that allow to simulate VANET networks are beneficial in creating scenarios and in modeling road traffic. This article is a contribution to these topics.
