Abstract
This research tends to highlight the Filipino value of eating together with the whole family as a form of Eucharist where the presence of Christ can be manifested even in times of crises and a response on the COVID-19 pandemic that is widespread around the country and even the whole world. Due to this COVID-19, many churches do cancel their worship services and even Eucharistic celebrations. “Salo-salo sa Hapag” (Eating and Relating together at the Table) is a unique character of every Filipino household as it highlights relationship in every member. Thus, Eucharist is also a form of relationship in which one is transformed through the rites and whatever he takes from the table of the Lord. Salo-salo is a way of sharing the burden and suffering of one another and helping also one to cope up in the challenges he or she faces which also serves the purpose of the Eucharist. Therefore, Filipino Family Eucharist is a response and a help in the universal church in fostering family relations and even a continuation of the Sunday liturgy at home even after the post-pandemic event.
