Abstract
The adenoviral inclusion body hepatitis/hydropericardium (IBH/HP) syndrome is a widespread disease in chicken. Modern schemes of the specific prophylaxis of this disease are usually involve the inactivated emulsive biopreparations (vaccines). The data on the monitoring of the disease on the poultry farms of different regions of Russian Federation; registration of the disease by the author in Russia; isolation, identification, and investigation of the biological properties of the agent and its certification; basic theoretical aspects of the technology of inactivated emulsive vaccine and investigation of its immunogenic properties in experimental and commercial conditions are presented.
