Abstract
With the rapid development of modern technology, the promotion and popularization of computer multimedia technology and the updating of teaching concepts and methods, a variety of new teaching methods are emerging, and virtual simulation technology as a new teaching media began to appear in the field of education and teaching. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the application of VR virtual simulation technology in teaching and learning. Based on this, this paper designs a high school geography flipped classroom model based on VR virtual simulation technology. This paper mainly uses the questionnaire method to conduct VR virtual teaching experiments in a middle school in this city, and then conducts questionnaires and analyzes the data on students. The experimental results showed that students’ interest in the new teaching model increased dramatically. The average score of senior students rose from 74.21 in the previous test to 82.62, and the average score of sophomores also rose by 5.58, while the average score of seniors in geography also rose by 7.7, and their performance also improved significantly.
