Industry Competitiveness: Digitalization, Management, and Integration (ISCI 2019)

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the intensive development of the innovative potential of the national economy to overcome the strategic gap with the leading countries. Analyzing the statistical data, we note the technical recession of the Russian economy. The paper considers a set of reasons (primarily institutional ones) hindering the dynamic transfer of knowledge and technology to the Russian industry and the effective use of innovations in national enterprises. Institutional analysis is the main method of studying the issues raised. We use and summarize the research results of national and international studies, publications of periodicals, and internet resources. In addition to the statistical materials of the Federal Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, we analyze international ratings for different years that objectively characterize the innovation activity of Russia and the effectiveness of the state innovation policy.
