Abstract

Big data plays an important role in promoting the development of natural resource management technology and natural resource management. The implementation of the protection of arable land’s quantity, quality, and ecology should be empowered by land resource data, relevant economic and social development data, and network data; fueled by data sharing, opening, and analysis, together with the mining and application of big data, the development of natural resource management technology is advanced and the quality of natural resource management has stepped up. The application of big data still needs to further strengthen scientific and technological innovation and demonstration application. What’s also in need is to raise awareness, deepen research, innovate technology and strengthen demonstration in data-driven decision-making of natural resource management, practical application of natural resource management and construction of the disciplines of natural resource management.
