Abstract
This short chapter addresses the strengths of the present volume and suggests possibilities for further research. Additional areas for study might potentially include an increased focus on esotericism and women’s lived experience, cross cultural analysis, and the dynamics of colonialism. There are also recommendations for a wider analysis of gender paradigms within the study of esotericism. Finally, the chapter concludes with a call to recognize a much greater range of subject and also a greater diversity of scholars represented, which will reflect the changing demographics involved in the scholarly study of esotericism.
