Abstract
An openhearted but conditional acceptance of blemished fathers and ancestral patriarchs that calls for new ways of being masculine and the willingness of all involved to change, heal, and move forward without blaming or getting even for the intergenerational harm that resulted. The non-binary child and adult (son) specifically ask what the consequences are of not forgiving the father and how precisely do they/them (he) go about forgiving their (his) own.
