Abstract

With the prosperity of wireless communication and ubiquitous sensing technology, Smart grid has achieved rapid development in recent years. While smart grid technology has provided Convention and Efficiency to both power suppliers and consumers, it also raises new challenges. In this paper, we propose a secure and smart power grid system. By utilizing blockchain technology enables both secure transaction data storage and smart execution of contracts. The results of a large scale simulation with 1000 users show that besides its secure and smart features, smart power grid system is still as effective as traditional centralized methods.
