Abstract
Recently, Russia has embarked on the digital economy development. The scholars’ opinion regarding this term interpretation diverges currently. An aggregate interpretation is provided by Academician Kleiner, who defines the digital economy as the environment state. The digital economy has a frame nature, its key characteristics includes forecasting the future state of the environment. At the same time, digitalization in specific sectors of the economy remains an important issue. “Digital” transport and logistics require a different management approach. The basis of digitalization is to consider the requirements of the end-user, the basis of the “digital” service of the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to understand the phenomenon of “digital” economy concept in Russia. The paper focuses on the transport system efficiency and considers the “digital” transport service quality indicators.
